Design for The Web
Websites, huh?
We spent a long time trying to figure out how this web stuff worked - being printers at heart, we couldn't see at first where the paper went.
But we're persistent souls and we like a challenge. So once we realised there was no paper, we had a mild panic attack, then started researching how to build websites which met our customary high standards.
Pardon?
Thing is, we've not only had to learn all kinds of new words, we've also had to work out how to talk to you without using any of them (well, hardly any).
If you need a new brochure or logo we wouldn't start by telling you how a printing press works, so we're a little confused why so many web designers seem to take that approach and leave you baffled.
So we thought it would be best if we simply concentrated on building websites which look great and are easy to use, and talked to you about them in plain English.
We can do it. You can do it.
Of course we know all about the code and accessibility legislation and databases and search engines and stuff - we've even learnt a wireframe isn't something to keep the birds off your strawberries.
We can build a site so you can update it yourselves, quickly and easily. So no more excuses for the most recent item on your 'News' page being about the discovery of Australia.
Bottom line. Online.
As ever, we think XIC's combination of creativity and common sense is what our customers really want. Now we can apply that same approach online. Want to know more? Get in touch.
