Our latest investment in the XIC factory!

We’re passionate about enhancing our capabilities so you can take advantage of new services that really elevate your marketing materials, which is why we’re proud to have invested in a direct-to-object printer! This impressive piece of tech means we can rapidly transform off-the-shelf items into unique and bespoke promotional merchandise that will make a lasting impression. Used on a vast array of items and materials, we’ve already been busy using it for clients such as Delmar, so it could have branded water bottles on its stand at Offshore Europe.

Check out some Safety Expo feedback

We’ve been reflecting on the success of this year’s Safety Expo which took place on Thursday, September 21, 2023. As the largest expo we’ve put on, it’s incredible to see there’s certainly demand for this type of event in the North-east.

Since then, we’ve reached out to our attendees and exhibitors to get their thoughts on the day. From enjoying Bob Keiller’s pitch in the morning and the ongoing opportunity to talk to speakers in an open space, to the variety of exhibitors available and the chance to find out more about their offering, we’ve received brilliant insights into what everyone loved about the event (and any improvements!), and it’s certainly going to support our future plans.

With that in mind, following the buzz, we’re ready to get going all over again for 2024, so make sure you keep an eye out on our channels for news on that in due course…

Nicola is back from maternity leave

We’re so excited to have Nicola back in the office after almost a year’s maternity leave! A key player in our team, Nicola has stepped up to Business Development Manager since returning in September.

In the first few weeks, she’s been working at The Safety Expo and meeting with both new and existing clients to help with their print, design and display needs.

High quality print for Port of Aberdeen

We recently worked with Port of Aberdeen to produce a high-end photobook for its recent open day.

Showing off incredible imagery of the organisation’s infrastructure, this piece of print work needed to ooze quality and show off the intricate details of the images. The end result is colourful, and shows off the photography in a hard-back book that will stand the test of time for readers, making it the perfect item to hand out and provide an overview of Port of Aberdeen’s operations in a visual form.

We produced a large-scale game of Operation for Forrest Training!

At XIC, we challenge ourselves to think outside the box when it comes to printing – and that’s exactly what we did with this game.

Forrest Training is a first aid training provider focused on making training fun and engaging so people remember important practices. With this in mind, we came up with the idea of creating an interactive game that really got people thinking about the subject matter. Piggybacking on the traditional game of ‘Operation’, this larger scale version was on prominent display at the organisation’s stand at The Safety Expo. Complete with a timer, it’s fair to say attendees were getting competitive, and it was the perfect introduction to learn more about Forrest Training’s offering.
