One piece of this idea-driven team is Director Jason Moir, who has embodied our creative pursuits since joining XIC in 1999. Delivering creative ideas and unique concepts to clients for over 24 years, there is no one better-placed to dissect the three-step process followed by our team in every design, print and display project we tackle.

Step 1 – Let us know your end goal

“Behind each of our projects is an overall aim – this is something we encourage all of our customers to consider before we get stuck into the nitty gritty parts of the job. This stems from the fact that we don’t want our clients to invest in our services unless they have an idealistic end goal as this forms the basis of our ideas.

“The creative solutions identified by our team are designed to accomplish the goal outlined by the client – but don’t worry our customers do not need to give us a detailed brief! All we need is a taste of your main aim to get our ideas flowing.

Step 2 – Let’s brainstorm

“As soon as we have an understanding of your goal, it’s time to get our heads together and brainstorm some creative ideas! We often invite clients down to our workspace in Aberdeen where we can introduce you to the team that will be working on your project, while showing you various samples of our products that we think could be utilised to meet your design, print, or display needs.

“We thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to brainstorm ideas with the client in-person before our team begins to develop high-quality visuals and prototypes. Over the years, we’ve found that both our team and customers can really benefit from this in-person meeting as these sessions encourage both parties to think outside of the box and share all ideas no matter how far out there they may seem. Don’t worry if you aren’t local or short on time, a quick chat on the phone or video call will leave us feeling inspired too!
