About the Role
You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing cashflow, and preparing monthly and quarterly reports.
You’ll also assist with payroll, VAT compliance, and year-end submissions, while supporting HR and general office administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Finance Management: Process client and supplier invoices, manage accounts payable/receivable, and maintain financial files.
- Reconciliations: Weekly bank reconciliations, monthly balance sheet checks, and creditor reconciliations.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts, profit & loss, balance sheets, and cashflow statements.
- Payroll Support: Collate overtime data, reconcile payroll reports, and ensure HMRC compliance.
- Tax & Compliance: Submit VAT returns, pay Corporation Tax, and assist with P11D and Class 1A calculations.
- Administration: Manage insurances, HR records, service contracts, and tenant invoicing.
- Communication: Liaise with clients, suppliers, and colleagues to resolve queries and discrepancies.
What We’re Looking For
- Higher Accounting Certification (minimum).
- Strong experience with Sage accounting software and solid knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable working independently.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
