Brief
NOV, a global leader in oil and gas solutions, looked to reinvigorate the internal spaces of its Aberdeen base to bring the environment up to date with brand and company culture.
A mix of blank walls and outdated branding no longer aligned with the company’s identity and the team wanted a transformation that would not only enhance aesthetics but create an inspiring and engaging atmosphere for staff and visitors.
Design
We had a vision to seamlessly integrate NOV’s industry expertise into the physical workspace. As big believers in ‘showing not telling’, here’s how we told the NOV brand story at every turn.
We created a high-impact meeting room wallscape that encapsulated the essence of NOV to provide a powerful backdrop to discussions and presentations.
With many office enhancement projects, we have to work around pre-existing features or structural elements. A blank partition added a jarring white breaker to the office so we saw the opportunity to add a striking image to add some energy to the space while maintaining a cohesive and professional look in the main office.
Hallways and stairwells played host to striking prints that showcased NOV’s global operations and reinforcing brand identity throughout the office.
To ensure communicable dining spaces were inviting and relaxing, a print of the stunning Stonehaven harbour at sunset was installed to create a welcoming environment to offer employees some escapism in their breaks.
By fusing creative design with print expertise, we ensured that every element was aligned with NOV’s brand and operational vision.
Results
The transformation delivered an immediate impact, with both employees and visitors responding positively to the new environment. Through the enhancement we:
